CBD Notification 2023-023 - Extension of deadline: Submission of views on issues for further consideration for digital sequence information on genetic resources

Reference is made to notification 2023-003 ( https://www.cbd.int/doc/
The Secretariat is extending the deadline to allow for the submission of additional views. Parties, other Governments, indigenous peoples and local communities and relevant organizations that have not yet done so are invited to submit views as soon as possible, but no later than 31 March 2023. Kindly note that submissions should be sent through an official letter addressed to the Executive Secretary by e-mail to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .
Pursuant to paragraph 21 of decision 15/9, these submissions will be compiled and synthesized, posted on the Secretariat website and made available to the Ad hoc Open-ended Working Group on Benefit-sharing from the Use of Digital Sequence Information on Genetic Resource.
